Professional history
Mandy has more than 30 years’ experience working in Life Sciences and Healthcare. She has held a series of senior roles at AstraZeneca leading major transformation projects including IT implementation, supply chain development and investment to aid pharmaceutical operations and manufacturing.
Mandy founded Quince Consultancy to help businesses to add value through making connections, seeing beyond the immediate problem to be solved whilst creating a supportive culture for people to grow and develop, simplifying processes and using technology innovatively and ethically. Working mainly in the life sciences sector in areas as diverse as academia, start-ups, clinical development through to manufacturing.
She is a board member at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and the High Value Manufacturing Catapult and has served on the boards of The Guinness Partnership and Wulvern Housing in the Social Housing and Care sector.
Society and charity work
Mandy is a keen sportsperson. Her love of sport having started when she rowed for Cambridge. She is the deputy chair of Henley Women’s Regatta the premier regatta for women in the UK run by volunteers.
She loves running, especially in the hills. She was Race director of RunMaccFest, a community event bringing together community groups and over 1500 athletes to run and raise money for local charities.
