Professional history
Bob Hoogendoorn is a consultant at McKinsey & Company in London where he is a core member of both the Private Equity and the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice. Within these fields, he mainly serves private equity clients, alternative investors and corporates, advising them on buy- and sell-side transactions, investment strategy and corporate strategy.
Prior to McKinsey & Company, Bob worked in Investment Banking at Bank of America in London, where he focused on M&A transactions for investment funds.
Bob holds a graduate degree in Finance from Cambridge Judge Business School. He also received a master’s degree in Business Administration (Cum Laude) from Tilburg University, and holds an Undergraduate degree in Economics. Additionally, Bob is an investor in several companies ranging from e-mobility to real estate and hospitality.
Society & charity work
Bob currently serves on the Supervisory Board of PT Papua Diving. Papua Diving is the leading diving resort in the Raja Ampat area, West Papua, and is a pioneer in environmental and ocean conservation through its Research & Conservation arm. Bob is also an active fundraiser for several charities, by running marathons across the world.
