Funding

Postdocs to Innovators (p2i) network

p2i Network sponsors a limited number of places for postdoctoral researchers from the University of Cambridge and  p2i partner organisations working on an idea related to life sciences, high tech including clean energy and environment, new materials and engineering. This is subject to selection process and can be discussed at the Ignite interview.

Other funding

There are limited tuition funding places available for life sciences or biotech ideas, subject to the interview selection process.

Cambridge Academy of Therapeutic Science (CATS)

Funding is available for postdoctoral researchers and Principle Investigators from the University of Cambridge and working on the idea related to the area of Medtech, therapeutics and medical devices. This can be discussed at the Ignite interview.

Cancellation policy

All fees must be paid in full per the invoice payment terms before the start of the programme. Our contract with you commences when we write to confirm that we have accepted you as a delegate on the Ignite programme and you accept our offer. Once the fee is paid cancellations are not accepted unless you have special circumstances as stated below.

In the event that a delegate is unable to obtain a visa, once we have received official confirmation from the Embassy, we will refund the fee in full.

Note: If a delegate does not attend, the full fee will be retained as a cancellation charge. Where accommodation is booked, it is the delegate’s responsibility to pay any cancellation charges to the College.

Substitution of delegates

We discourage the substitution of delegates for this course as we believe that the person with the idea and the internal fire for change is the true candidate. The substitution will require 2 weeks’ notice to allow time for careful selection, and a new application must be submitted.

Accommodation

We may be able to help you to book College student accommodation (subject to availability), though early booking is essential. Further further details will be sent once your application has been accepted and confirmed.
