Where do you see yourself?
I’ve just finished my pre-clinical med school years, so those are the 2 years before you enter clinical training in a hospital. I joined Cambridge Judge Business School here in order to get a bit of a different experience. The desire to study something different and get those additional assets in terms of potentially being able to work in more of a medical leadership position and medical management leadership position, which is what led me to this programme here at Cambridge Judge Business School.
Being a scientist from background in that sense, I really enjoyed more of the quantitative aspects of the business econ and finance modules. Our consultancy project, where we actually spend 7 to 8 weeks working with the client on an actual project, was a differentiator in terms of it’s actually kind of a hands-on experience. Being able to work with 4 students in my cohort and really closely with a client who is really supportive, engaging, and deliver a project that adds real value to that client, that’s actually tangible and makes you feel like you’re a part of that business was an incredible and invaluable experience. CJBS itself has got a lot to offer. I’ve really developed friendships, which I think, hopefully — touch wood [looks around] there is none here 🙂 — lasts me for life.
