Combine face-to-face teaching with remote online learning on our part-time, two-year course. Enjoy 4 one-week residentials in Cambridge and complete the rest around full-time work or entrepreneurial ventures.
During these weeks, you will have lectures with Cambridge Judge faculty and participate in hands-on group exercises that facilitate learning on essential aspects of entrepreneurship. The residential weeks offer many opportunities to interact in person and form connections with peers, faculty, mentors and contributors.
Through a mix of core and elective modules, expert-led workshops, peer-to-peer learning and mentoring, the programme is designed to help you carve out your path to success.
Learning objectives
The overall learning objectives of the programme include:
Learn to identify ideas for entrepreneurial ventures and how to evaluate their potential for success. Turn your ideas into a set of hypotheses and use tried-and-tested techniques to test your assumptions.
Delve deep into the science of persuasion and identify the rational, social and emotional levers you can use to gain the support of critical audiences, like innovators, early adopters, co-innovators and distribution partners.
Understand the mechanisms and contingencies that underly decisions around selection and prioritisation of the capabilities your venture should develop at different points in time.
Gain a foundational understanding of what makes entrepreneurial teams succeed and how to build effective behaviours amongst your team.

Major project
Conceptualise your business strategy before applying it. During the second year of your MSt in Entrepreneurship at Cambridge Judge Business School, you will complete a 12,000-word assignment, also referred to as the major project.

Become a member of an action learning team during the first residential week of the Entrepreneurship MSt programme. Students are assigned to an action learning team and stay a member of that group throughout the programme, offering support and knowledge sharing to each other.
During the residential weeks, you’ll attend seminars led by entrepreneurial experts from a range of different industries.
Hear first-hand about what it’s like to be an entrepreneur in sectors such as fintech, retail, the creative industries, biotech, healthcare and beyond.
Take inspiration from experienced entrepreneurs who’ve faced major challenges and learn how they overcame them.
Interactive workshops led by experienced coaches will give you the skills needed to take your venture to the next level.
Learn how to pitch, build your brand, structure information and present yourself to various stakeholders, from investors to customers.
Work with pitching trainers, business advisors and other experts to build your confidence in pitching.
Put your skills and knowledge, gained in your first year, into practice in your second year with a 12,000-word assignment analysing a new business opportunity.
Develop a business strategy to apply in the real world (most students choose their own venture).
Work with an academic supervisor who will guide you in your research, with regular meetings starting in your fourth residential.
Consolidate the skills, strategies and research methods developed in your first year.
You’ll be assigned a mentor who will offer you continuous one-to-one practical support and advice throughout the two-year programme.

Gain the confidence and support to turn your idea into real business or efficiently scale and refine your existing strategy.
