Curriculum FAQs

It’s a part-time master’s degree, which our students normally fit around full-time work. Our programme combines teaching with a research project/dissertation and most of this happens remotely, with four one-week residentials in Cambridge.

Our aim is to help you develop academically, personally and professionally in order to progress your career.

Our programme begins at the start of October each year.

Two years.

We encourage you to! Most of our students work full-time (in the UK or overseas) while studying for the MSt; the programme is part-time and has been designed to fit around other commitments.

Careers FAQs

An MSt isn’t a route into a PhD at the Business School  however we have had students going on to study a PhD in other departments at the University of Cambridge and beyond, but this depends on the admissions requirements of the particular department you’re applying to for the PhD.

If you’re thinking of doing a PhD at Cambridge Judge after completing a master’s degree, we’d normally recommend one of the specialist research master’s programmes instead.
