Meet our MPhil in Finance class
Every year, our cohort is made up of bright and diverse students from all parts of the world, with no part playing a dominant role. All have a First-Class degree from a well-recognised university and their discipline background ranges from economics, finance, and accounting, to engineering, physics and computer science.
Class sizes vary from year to year but are typically 20-26. Depending on your course choices, you will share some of your classes with other students on the MPhil in Economics, Part III of the Maths Tripos, MPhil in Statistical Science or Master of Finance.
The cultural and discipline diversity of the class create a stimulating, fast-paced learning environment, where students learn from each other and create friendships that last a lifetime.

Jinpeng: “My choice to attend the MPhil in Finance at Cambridge Judge Business School was driven by the programme’s unique amalgamation of rigorous, research-oriented academic curriculum and the opportunity for close engagement with the preeminent finance faculty. The curriculum’s modules have endowed me with a comprehensive and nuanced comprehension of finance, traversing a multitude of research domains along with the application of the associated empirical methodologies. Moreover, interactions with the faculty members have been exceptionally enlightening. The professors, who are not only experts in their respective fields but also remarkably approachable, have provided invaluable mentorship in shaping my research interests and academic trajectory.”
