Countries eligible for the international automatic application fee waiver
You do not need to pay an application fee or complete a fee waiver form if you are a national from our list of eligible countries below and you have lived there since birth. If you’re an applicant and are interested in further information related to application waiver you should contact the relevant programme.
These countries are identified as least developed countries and those affected by conflict or humanitarian crises, using data from the United Nations, UNICEF, The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the World Bank.
Please note: The UK government has announced a ‘visa brake’ on new student visa applications from nationals of Afghanistan, Cameroon, Myanmar and Sudan. For more information, please see the Postgraduate Admissions Office’s Visa Brake advice page.
