Stay connected with the Business School
Stay connected through a rich and varied programme of online and in-person alumni events.
Throughout the year, you will be invited to regional and special interest events, lifelong learning opportunities, anniversary reunions, the annual Alumni Festival and to our flagship events series CJBS Connects: Worldwide that runs during the month of September.
You will receive invitations and events updates via your Inbox. If for any reason you are not receiving these, please email us at eacrm@jbs.cam.ac.uk.
These events represent a great opportunity to meet up with classmates, make new connections and advance your professional development.
Why have I come all the way from Australia? Because it’s worth it.
It’s a unique opportunity to meet with my classmates and meet alumni that I don’t know. I think it’s the best networking opportunity in the world.
It’s become like a reverse spring break. I get to continue my MBA. It hasn’t stopped yet.
For me, it’s just a top-up in the relationships but also in the learning that we’ve had.
Meeting new students, meeting students from other cohorts who I haven’t met yet, that’s one of the best parts.
This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with my former classmates, with friends, lifelong friends.
To connect with diverse and like-minded people is really inspiring. And it’s such a privilege to be here.
I love being here, seeing all my classmates, and meeting other people.
It’s great to also be able to connect with some of the greatest minds globally here. So I’m always excited to come back.
So, so much is changing in our business lives year on year. And having an executive MBA that continues to affect you in terms of the fact that you can come back is priceless.
To hear about the latest management and business thinking, it’s a really great opportunity to satisfy your curiosity each year.
Feel that the whole world is opening in front of your eyes. And you discover how much you do not know and how much is there to be learned.
It keeps me current. It keeps me up to date. Being able to do new courses and continued lifelong learning is really important to me.
Everybody’s really open and will discuss their challenges and their experiences in a safe environment. And those experiences added real value to the academic content.
What I’ve learned this week is so invaluable, the experience, that I can just go tomorrow morning and apply that.
It’s just the opportunity to learn from each other as opposed to just learning from the classroom.
I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for my class, if it wasn’t for the Cambridge MBA. They completely changed my life.
I think with everything we do, it’s all about connections we make with people and those around us. And being able to have those connections gives meaning and purpose to everything that I personally do, but I’m sure for others as well.
Building that camaraderie, helping you maintain it is why I come back.
I think Cambridge is not an experience for once. It’s an experience for a lifetime. And coming back allows us to continue to do that.3
