Impact and practitioner engagement

Research focused on results

Cambridge Judge Business School is in the business of transformation. Many of our academics are leaders in their field, creating new insight and applying the latest thinking to real-world issues.

This is driven by our focus on engagement with organisations: the point where research and the real world of management intersect.

We help organisations to learn faster and search more effectively for solutions to the challenges they are facing today and will face tomorrow. For this reason, our engagement goes far beyond the surface of a specific problem, brief or sector.

Our commitment to impact and engagement

We are committed to increase the impact that our research has in the world and our engagement with other organisations and institutions. Our academics and students don’t just work in the library, the lab and the classroom, they work in boardrooms, in offices and communities and on the shop floor too. Thousands of experiments are being undertaken in all those places, each one a novel attempt to beat competitors, win new customers, create social value.

We actively encourage our faculty to engage at this deep level with organisations to root their theoretical insights in practice. This results in clear advantages for the organisations involved and gives us new insights to share in our teaching and research.
